| Abstract | The rapid advancement of digital technologies has fundamentally transformed modern education by enabling personalised, adaptive, and learner-centred instructional approaches. Traditional education systems often struggle to accommodate diverse learning styles, individual learning paces, varying cognitive abilities, and evolving workforce requirements. Consequently, Innovative Educational Technologies (EdTech) integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Learning Analytics, Adaptive Learning Systems, Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS), Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Extended Reality (XR), Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) have emerged as powerful solutions for delivering customised learning experiences, improving student engagement, and enhancing educational outcomes. This study presents a comprehensive analysis of Innovative Educational Technologies for Personalised and Adaptive Learning. A qualitative analytical research methodology based on secondary data is employed to investigate AI-powered learning platforms, adaptive assessment systems, intelligent tutoring, immersive learning environments, learning analytics, and digital education ecosystems. The research evaluates how emerging educational technologies improve learning effectiveness, academic performance, accessibility, student engagement, teacher support, and institutional efficiency across multidisciplinary educational settings. The findings indicate that AI-driven adaptive learning systems significantly enhance personalised instruction through intelligent content recommendation, real-time performance monitoring, predictive learning analytics, automated assessment, and adaptive curriculum design. Virtual and Augmented Reality provide immersive learning experiences that improve conceptual understanding, while blockchain supports secure credential management and academic record verification. Cloud computing enables scalable digital learning environments, and learning analytics assists educators in identifying at-risk learners and optimising instructional strategies. Despite these opportunities, challenges remain concerning digital equity, cybersecurity, learner privacy, algorithmic bias, technological infrastructure, educator readiness, ethical AI deployment, and regulatory compliance. Future research should investigate explainable educational AI, federated learning for educational analytics, AI-driven digital learning twins, quantum-assisted personalised learning, and lifelong adaptive learning ecosystems. The study concludes that innovative educational technologies provide a multidisciplinary foundation for developing intelligent, inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable education systems capable of supporting future learning environments and global knowledge societies. |
