Abstract The global economy is experiencing a fundamental transformation driven by technological innovation, digital entrepreneurship, and the rapid adoption of emerging digital technologies. Innovation-driven entrepreneurship has become a critical mechanism for economic growth, job creation, competitive advantage, and sustainable development by enabling businesses to create new products, services, and business models. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain Technology, Digital Platforms, FinTech, E-Commerce, Automation, Robotics, Digital Twins, Metaverse Technologies, Cybersecurity, and Data-Driven Decision-Making Systems has accelerated digital business transformation across industries and global markets.
This study presents a comprehensive analysis of Innovation-Driven Entrepreneurship and Digital Business Transformation in the Global Economy. A qualitative analytical research methodology based on secondary data is employed to examine entrepreneurial innovation models, digital transformation strategies, technology-enabled business ecosystems, and emerging opportunities for global enterprises. The research explores how digital technologies enhance entrepreneurial capabilities, improve operational efficiency, create new market opportunities, and support sustainable economic development.
The findings indicate that digital transformation enables entrepreneurs to develop scalable business models, personalise customer experiences, optimise supply chains, automate operations, and access global markets. Artificial Intelligence supports predictive business analytics and intelligent decision-making, while cloud platforms reduce technological barriers for startups. Digital platforms and blockchain-based ecosystems enhance trust, collaboration, and financial inclusion. Furthermore, innovation-driven entrepreneurship contributes significantly to economic resilience by supporting sustainable business practices and inclusive growth.
Despite these opportunities, challenges remain concerning digital inequality, cybersecurity risks, data privacy concerns, technological dependency, regulatory uncertainty, investment limitations, and entrepreneurial skill gaps. Future research should investigate AI-powered entrepreneurship ecosystems, sustainable digital business models, decentralised platforms, human–AI collaboration, digital innovation policy frameworks, and inclusive technology adoption strategies.
The study concludes that innovation-driven entrepreneurship combined with digital transformation provides a strategic pathway for achieving global competitiveness, economic sustainability, and inclusive development in the rapidly evolving digital economy.
