| Abstract | The rapid advancement of digital technologies has fundamentally transformed entrepreneurship by creating new business models, enhancing innovation capabilities, and expanding global market opportunities. Innovation-driven entrepreneurship has become a key catalyst for economic growth, employment generation, technological advancement, and sustainable development in the digital economy. Emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data Analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, blockchain, Digital Twin technology, 5G networks, edge computing, and Generative Artificial Intelligence are enabling entrepreneurs to develop intelligent products, digital platforms, data-driven services, and scalable business ecosystems. Digital entrepreneurship increasingly relies on technological innovation, digital transformation, platform-based business models, and agile organisational strategies to create competitive advantage and respond to rapidly changing market conditions. This study investigates innovation-driven entrepreneurship in the digital economy using a qualitative and analytical research methodology based on secondary data collected from peer-reviewed journals, international reports, government publications, and multidisciplinary case studies. The study examines the role of emerging digital technologies in entrepreneurial innovation, business model transformation, startup ecosystem development, digital finance, smart manufacturing, healthcare innovation, education technology, sustainable business practices, and global competitiveness. It further analyses entrepreneurial ecosystems supported by Artificial Intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, fintech, digital marketing, and intelligent decision support systems. The findings indicate that digital innovation significantly enhances entrepreneurial opportunity recognition, operational efficiency, customer engagement, product innovation, financial inclusion, and international market expansion. AI-powered analytics, cloud-based platforms, digital marketplaces, blockchain-enabled trust mechanisms, and data-driven decision-making improve startup scalability, organisational resilience, innovation performance, and strategic competitiveness. Digital entrepreneurship also contributes to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting inclusive economic growth, technological advancement, sustainable industrialisation, and innovation ecosystems. Despite these opportunities, entrepreneurs continue to face challenges related to cybersecurity, digital skills shortages, access to finance, regulatory uncertainty, data privacy, technological disruption, ethical AI governance, infrastructure limitations, and increasing global competition. The study concludes that strengthening digital infrastructure, fostering entrepreneurial education, promoting responsible innovation, supporting startup ecosystems, and encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration are essential for building resilient and sustainable digital entrepreneurship ecosystems capable of driving future economic development. |
